The Best Mashed Potatoes Recipe
Follow this simple, yet flavorful recipe to create a creamy, garlicky, and utterly delicious side dish that'll steal the show at any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds baking potatoes peeled and quartered
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Ranch Seasoning
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Salt and boil enough water to cover the potatoes.
- While the water is beginning to boil, quarter the potatoes. Once the water is boiling, carefully add the potatoes. Cook for 20 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
- Drain the potatoes and add them to a large mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl as well.
- Use a potato masher or an electric mixer to blend all the ingredients together.
