Slow-Cooker Pot Roast Recipe

Tender chuck roast bathed in flavorful blends, cooked to perfection. A delectable dish that elevates comfort to a whole new level.

Ingredients
  

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 2 1/2 pound boneless beef chuck roast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 package dry beef gravy mix
  • 1 package ranch dressing mix
  • 1 package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
  • ½ cup water or as needed
  • 5 whole peeled carrots optional

Instructions
 

  • Grease the slow cooker with cooking spray. Spread the onion slices in the bottom.
  • Pat the roast dry and season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour on all sides.
  • Put the roast in the slow cooker on top of the onions.
  • Whisk together the gravy mix, ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix, and water in a bowl. Pour over the roast.
  • Add the carrots (if using).
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the roast is tender and the gravy has thickened.
