Ingredients
  

  • 4 Fish Filets
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Creole Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder

Instructions
 

  • Combine Yellow Mustard, Eggs, Creole Seasoning, Hot Sauce, Paprika, Black Pepper, Salt, and Chili Powder in a large bowl.
  • Add fish filets then cover and let marinate in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • In a large pot, heat vegetable oil on the stove to 350 degrees.
  • Combine Flour and Cornmeal in a separate bowl.
  • After the fish has marinated, add a filet one at a time to the bowl of dry ingredients to cover the filet in the flour and cornmeal. Set completed filets aside.
  • Carefully add the filets to the oil and cook until the internal temperature of the fish hits 145 degrees (about 5 minutes.)
  • Remove the cooked filets from the oil and let sit for 2 minutes before eating.
