Soften your butter by letting it sit outside the fridge, or microwave it for a couple of seconds. Put the butter into a large mixing bowl.
Mix the remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl.
Ball up the dough in plastic wrap, and let it chill in the fridge for an hour or your freezer for 15 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Then lay down some parchment paper or aluminum foil on a cookie sheet.
Once the dough is chilled then we can start forming small 1-inch balls on the parchment.
Use a fork to press hashes into the cookies.
Put the cookies into the oven for 8 minutes, then take them out and let cool for 10 minutes.
